Indian Railways' rolling with 7 percent growth
Indian Railways' revenues intensified by over 7 percent in its first quarter of this fiscal year, the railway ministry expressed the same.

Further the revenue from goods transport stood high from Rs.13, 927.05 crore to Rs.14, 930.11 crore, the earnings from passenger traffic mounted from Rs.5, 802.66 crore to Rs.6, 190.70 crore. Other earnings mounted from Rs.577.78 crore to Rs.626.01 crore, in a statement.
The same entailed the estimated figures of passenger bookings during the month of April-June 2010 that went at 1,937.22 million viz a viz to 1836.51 million in the parallel period last year, with an inclination of 5.48 per cent.
