Jaipur blasts: STF detains cyber café owner

Jaipur BlastGhaziabad, May 15 : The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force today detained a cyber café owner and his son on charges that the e-mail in which a lesser-known terror outfit Indian Mujahideen claimed the responsibility for Jaipur blasts was sent from their cyber café.

"The STF (Special Task Force) has detained cyber café owner S. P Mishra and his son Madhukar Mishra in connection with Jaipur blasts. They have also seized some material from their cyber café," said Sub Inspector Jagmohan Singh.

The police also seized the CPUs of the computers of the café said another son of detained cyber café owner.

Reportedly, the e-mail sent from the cyber café claimed that the main aim of the blasts was to destroy the booming tourism in the pink city.

The email also contained a video, which shows footage of the bombs moments before they exploded.

Indian Mujahideen claimed in the e-mail that a cycle shown in the footage was the one that was used for the explosion at one of the blast sites.

Police said the investigation for the confirmation of the authenticity of the video is on.

Meanwhile, the security forces are maintaining a strict vigil in Jaipur.

Security forces have been alerted across the country to avoid any untoward incident in the wake of Jaipur blasts.

Militant group Indian Mujahideen on Wednesday had claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s blasts in Jaipur through a mysterious e-mail to various television channels and warned India to stop supporting the US in the international arena or else will face more attacks at other important tourist places.
