Microsoft is aiming to have job cuts reports Wall Street Journal.

Reports from Tech news site TechFlash, states that the IT biggie aims at laying off its employees by the end of this week.

Insider sources reports that these layoffs would be lesser than the 5,000 job cuts that happened last year, during the global economic recession.

This essentially is a measure taken in lieu of company's pattern of reshuffling jobs, aiming to cut back the jobs of one department at the same time multiplying new ranks at other places.

Planned at the start of a new fiscal year it strategically begins when Microsoft restructures upon its new strategies and it is expected to earmark from all the centres of the company.

This news however has not been made public which makes us believe of having small number of job cuts.
