Kerala CM Sees No Progress On PAP

V. S. Achuthanandan
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan informed the Kerala Assembly today that the discussions between Kerala and Tamil Nadu over Parambikkulam Aliyar Project (PAP) had made no substantial progress in spite of various rounds of meeting over the years.

According to the PAP water sharing transaction, the two states were believed to evaluate the contract every 30 years.

In a written reply, CM said accordingly, various rounds of administrator, ministerial and chief ministerial levels of discussions had been held, but a agreement between the two countries on matters concerned could not be reached.
