Louisville Girl dragged by School Bus, released from hospital after quick recovery

On Friday, in Louisville, a little girl was dragged by her school bus near her home. Everything about the incident was captured by a surveillance camera.

According to reports, the little girl has been fast recovering. On Sunday, she was released from the hospital where she was rushed after the terrifying moment. WHAS 11 reported that the girl was dragged by the bus about 100 feet.

The video captured by the surveillance camera showed the seven years old child being dragged by the bus. The girl, Ally Ehman, is a first grader and lives in Louisville, Kentucky. According to the reports, the incident took place when Ehman was getting off her school bus on Friday. When she was getting off the bus, her backpack got caught in the bus’ door. Before the little girl could tell the driver about the backpack, the bus sped off.

The girl was first seen by some neighbors who tried to warn the driver to stop the bus. When the driver stopped the bus, people ran to the little girl’s help. According to witnesses, the girl was conscious after the incident, but was in shock. They said that Ally laid motionless on the ground, but soon started crying for her mother.

Video of the incident was captured by home surveillance of Tom Carman. While talking to reporters, Carman said after watching the video, he noticed that the bus driver didn’t realize the child was being dragged.

He said, “I couldn’t believe it; her bouncing around in that door. All the way down the street. It was bad”.

After the incident, Ally was taken to a nearby children’s hospital where doctors found that the girl experienced road rash but was not with any serious injuries.
