Macy's will house Men's Wearhouse tux rental shops at 300 stores

It has been announced by Macy's M that it has signed a deal with a major retail to have Men's Wearhouse tux rental shops at 300 of its department stores.

Macy's M will soon have hundreds of Men's Wearhouse tux rental shops in its deal with the major brand intended to bring new customers.

The department store will include three Men's Wearhouse mini-shops at 300 of its department stores. The store already house similar shops for outside retailers like Lids sports apparel and Finish Line footwear. Men's Wearhouse will run these shops and its employees will be the staff in dedicated space in or in the vicinity of the men's department in Macy's stores.

According to reports, the first 17 of the shops will be opened in the fall in New Jersey, San Francisco and Houston. In the autumn of 2016, the rollout will be completed.

According to Tim Baxter, Macy's chief merchandising officer, "Macy's is better able than any other retailer to assist customers with a broad range of needs related to special occasions, and especially wedding couples, their families and friends at this significant milestone period in life".

He added that Macy's and Men's Wearhouse will work together in order to offer additional convenience and simplicity for customers and will offer the latest trends in rental tuxedos, together with major designer brands and some styles that will be found in only Macy's. He said that Men's Wearhouse's specialized and expert service will enhance the customer shopping experience.
