Maruti bullish on network expansion
The market leader in the Indian automobile industry, Maruti Suzuki is surely facing one of the toughest phases in the history of the company but it has not hampered the growth plans of the auto major.
In fact, the company is planning to double its dealership network in the coming five years in the Indian market.
It is to be mentioned here that the company currently has close to 828 dealerships in the country and the company is targeting a figure of 1,500 dealerships by the next five years.
The General Manager (Marketing and Sales) of the company, Partho Banerjee recently said that the company plans to double the number of its dealerships in the next five years. The move is a plan to have presence in all districts and taluka's.
In fact, Banerjee also pointed out the fact that the company draws its strategy charts by analysing the two-wheeler sales in a particular region.
It is to be mentioned here that the company that sells close to 8000 cars per month in Kerala, is aiming to increase its sales outlets in the state to 100 in the next five years from the present 59.
