Maruti enters the Guinness book of World records

Maruti enters the Guinness book of World recordsThe domestic market leader Maruti Suzuki has recently bagged another milestone into its kitty by entering the prestigious Guinness book of world record by organising the largest car parade of its popular hatchback Swift in Gurgaon. It may be noted here that the attempt came in the wake of the much-popular product completing its five years of India journey by selling close to 4.5 lakh units in the domestic circuit.

According to the statement issued by the company, it organised 342 cars in the car parade that happened in Gurgaon and holds the record of the biggest car rally in the Indian market.

Though the company organised similar rallies in Mumbai and Sriperumbudur but failed to achieve any considerable milestone.

Maruti Suzuki executive officer for sales and marketing Mayank Pareek said that the world record is a clear testimony of the rising popularity of the Swift.

Moreover, Pareek also highlighted the fact that the rally is a victory for the 4.5 lakh Swift owners across the country. Notably, similar rallies have been organised in the west also though, that go at a much larger scale.
