The concluding night at the HDIL Couture Week, Mumbai was nothing less than a blast. A night filled with Bollywood stars as audience and an Olympic Bronze winner boxer Vijendra Singh to walk the ramp is quiet unbelievable. But as always Rohit Bal stole the show with a surprise show-stopper. 

The designer showcased intricately designed Sherwani’s and short kurtas which were flamboyant and stylish. “The show was absolutely great and the clothes were fantastic. It was a riot of colors," said Shabana Azmi.

With the marriage season just around, the corner zardozi sherwanis, embellished salwars and velvet dhotis seemed wearable and were carried off beautifully by the ladies. 

Manish Malhotra who has written the destiny of many a bollywood films was also at his best. His theme was intimacy between newly weds. Models, who were adorned with lehengas cholis and beautiful duppatas, looked very much like traditional brides. 

A lot of Benarsi silk and brocade mingled with velvet was exquisite and close to a common mans heart .Manish's work was as always a hit with the bollywood stars. To sum it up, the show was extremely elegant, colourful, sporty and an out of this world experience.
