The new everyday version of tadalafil known as cialis will greatly help men with erectile problems to lead a normal sexual life. The new pill will remove problem of forward planning needed with other impotence pills, like Viagra.

The manufacturer, Eli Lilly, claims that the new pill is superior to its predecessor Viagra because the effects last much longer - up to 36 hours compared to Viagra's four.

The new pill has some mild side effects like headaches or upset stomach. It is available only on prescription from a GP. The drug will cost ?54.99 a month, for 28 tablets.

David Ralph, vice-chairman of the Sexual Dysfunction Association, said that this pill will make a huge difference. At the moment you have to programme sex into your schedule.

He added: 'Patients do not like having to associate taking a pill with having sex.'

'But this will enable men to take a pill from the bathroom cabinet every morning, making them feel normal again.'
