Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 26 : Alison Pill, who is best known for her role as Margaret Jordan in HBO series ' The Newsroom', recently welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Wilder Grace Leonard.

The 30-year-old star, with her hubby Joshua Leonard, shared the exciting news via an Instagram post that features a precious family of three and sweet message for her baby girl.

"So much to be thankful for. Wilder Grace Leonard, born November 19, 2016," she announced.

"Oh, earth, you're too wonderful for anybody to realize you.... Do human beings ever realize life while they live it?- Every, every minute?' #thorntonwilder @thejoshualeonard," she wrote.

Just in time for Thanksgiving holiday, the proud papa and 'Bates Motel' actor shared the same photo to his Instagram account.

Of balancing soon-to-be motherhood with a demanding career, Pill earlier teased on Instagram, "When you're an inch from 37 weeks pregnant and you're pretending your brain still works enough to do interviews for a smarty pants political thriller..."

Pill and Leonard tied the knot in May 2015 four months after announcing their engagement. (ANI)
