The newspaper has said that another 2-5 inches of snow was forecast for parts of the region overnight.
Thunderstorms were predicted for the mountains Thursday and Friday, with severe weather possible on the Front Range and Eastern Plains, as well.
It was also reported that earlier in the week the Loveland area had 18 inches of snow dumped on it, while Estes Park received 13 inches and Nederland got a foot.
The city had received about 4.6 inches by Wednesday morning, a record for May 12. Boulder has received 134.3 inches of snow this season, the fourth-highest total on record, Boulder's Daily Camera newspaper further said. (With Inputs from Agencies)
