London - Twenty-five people, including many children, were injured when an open-top double decker bus overturned in a popular seaside holiday resort in southern Britain Thursday, police said.

Passengers were thrown from the top deck of the bus and people were trapped on the lower floor following a collision with two cars on a narrow road near the resort of Poole.

"Considering how it could have been they are relatively minor injuries," said a police spokeswoman. (dpa)
