Nokia Rolls Out ‘N78’ In Indian Market

Finnish cellular phone giant Nokia has strengthened its ‘N’ series by Nokia Launches N78 In Indialaunching its unique mobile phone, N78 in the Indian market.

Targeting young generation, the new Nokia N78 weighs just 101.8 gm and sports a signature sleek black surface.

The company said that ‘N78’ will not only offer multiple experiences on single device but also helps combine experiences to make newer ones.

With 2.4 inch screen, the phone comes packed with 70 MB onboard storage capacity, FM radio, 3.2 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, MP3 player and GPS system with pre-loaded Nokia maps of eight cities with points of interest across 52 categories including bars, restaurants, cafes and hotels.

While lecturing on the occasion of new launch, Mr. Vineet Taneja, Head-GTM, Nokia India stated, “We are looking at the next generation of Internet that has evolved towards social networking or Web 2.0 where people can participate and share their experiences through communities such as Facebook and Flickr.”

The other feature that makes ‘N78’ a unique choice is its ‘Location Tagger’ application that automatically tags location information to pictures, and lets users to save pics by date plus geographical coordinates. The phone comes with an integrated three-month navigation license.

Moreover, it is Nokia initial device to come with widgets including Weatherbug and RSS feed that are enabled by Web Runtime technology.

The N78 features Nokia Original Accessories, which includes the Nokia Stereo Headset WH-600 and the Nokia Bluetooth Speakers MD-7W. Other features include, high-speed connectivity via WLAN, HSPDA 3.5G, support for microSD cards up to 8GB, internal speakers and 3.5mm headphones.

Available in two colours including cocoa brown and lagoon blue, the phone is expected to retail for approximately Rs 19,999.
