One of three convicted murderers captured in Colorado
Officials have said that one of three convicted murderers who escaped from an Arizona prison has been captured in Colorado.
CNN has reported that Arizona Department of Corrections spokesman Barrett Marson said Daniel Renwick, who was serving 22 years for second-degree murder, was in custody.
It was also reported that Renwick and two other convicted killers broke out of a privately run Kingman, Ariz., prison Friday night.
CNN further said that after the breakout, the three were described as armed and dangerous and possibly headed out of state or to Mexico.
Officials have said that the men were discovered missing after the Friday night, apparently after cutting a hole in the prison fence.
CNN also reported that Police said two of the escapees and an accomplice abducted two truck drivers on Interstate 40 outside of Kingman, taking over their 18-wheeler. The truckers and rig were released about five hours later about 135 miles to the east, in Flagstaff, Ariz.
The two remaining escaped inmates were Tracy Province, 42, serving a life sentence for robbery and murder; and John McCluskey, 45, serving 15 years for second-degree murder and other charges.
The suspected accomplice was Casslyn Mae Welch, 43, who had been on the visitation list for one of the inmates, Police further added. (With Inputs from Agencies)
