Oz man arrested with ‘cocaine and Viagra’ claims link to Paris Hilton

Melbourne, January 3: An Australian man, charged with possessing a prohibited drug, allegedly cocaine, and restricted substance, allegedly Viagra, told police that he had been en route to pick Paris Hilton and her `beau' Brandon Davis.

Mehmet Gulasi, who had been heading towards the city, had been asked to pull over the Range Rover, around four hours after the New Year.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the 39-year-old reportedly told police to be running on an urgent task, reports News. com. au.

The hotel-heiress Paris, who had arrived in Sydney on a publicity tour, was said to have been partying in the city's popular nightclubs, the Trademark Hotel and Piano Room in Kings Cross.

The officers allegedly heard from Gulasi that "he was on his way to pick them up and ferry them to the Sheraton on the Park Hotel."

On searching the Dover Heights man, cops found three small bags containing 2.5g of white powder, though to be cocaine, some tablets of the sex pill Viagra and sleeping pill Normison and his expired driving license.

The police also found that the vehicle driven by Gulasi was registered to Sydney nightclub mogul John Ibrahim.

Ibrahim, during the 1990s Wood Royal Commission into police corruption, "had denied being the new `lifeblood' of the Kings Cross drug trade."

However, his attorney Stephen Alexander said: "Mehmet Gulasi was driving a car that does not belong to John," adding, Gulasi was just an "acquaintance of John".

Gulasi had been granted bail to appear in Waverley Local Court on January 27. (ANI)
