Ace filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has dismissed the hearsays that his upcoming film starring Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor “Delhi-6” is an autobiography.

At the same time, Mehra accepts that the movie is based on his growing up days in Delhi’s Chandini Chowk.

Rakeysh said, “Delhi-6 is not an autobiography at all. I've just delved into my childhood memories and my youth in the film. I've only used what I observed when I was growing up in the backdrop. It's more of the colour of that life that has been used in the background than anything else.”

Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan, whose ‘Drona’ failed to attract the interest of the wider public in 2008, has big hopes from his upcoming film ‘Dilli 6’.

Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film will hit theatres on Feb 20.

In Dilli 6, Abhi is playing the role of ‘Roshan Mehra’, who is born and brought up in New York. Roshan has never been to India but the path of the movie brings him to his ancestral home for the first time. The challenge of the role was to stick out and blend into the surroundings.

After spending eight years in the Hindi film industry, Big B’s loving son Abhishek Bachchan, who celebrated his 33rd birthday on Thursday, said that the style of his acting is more like that of his mother, Jaya Bachchan.

In an interview, Junior Bachchan said, “Dad is an inspiration to the whole world. His creativity, dedication are legendary. He is a great source of inspiration. However, my acting style is more like my mother. I would like to believe that I have the best of both.”

From being a wonderful performer to portraying the best acting skills, Bollywood superstar Abhishek Bachchan has won many hearts.

Abhishek Bachchan was born in Mumbai on February 05, 1976. The son of India’s legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan is married to former Miss World turned actress, Aishwarya Rai. Delhi-6 director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has decided to gift 51 different kinds of pickles to Abhishek Bachchan on his upcoming birthday on Feb 5.

When he was asked about this, Mehra said, “During the making of Delhi 6, I realized that Abhishek has a taste for Indian food. He used to gorge on local delicacies. That’s how this came to my mind.”

It is believed that the director had ordered the pickles from Khadi Bauli, which is considered as the biggest achaar market of the country.

Yes, you heard it right, junior Bachchan has given a new ‘nickname’ to his loving wife Aishwarya.

After every success, Ash gets a new nickname from Abhi.

When she stood ninth among the most beautiful woman in the world, the one name that her husband lovingly calls her was ‘Number Nine’.

And this time when she was honored with Padmashri, hubby Abhi starts calling her ‘Padma Shrimati’ Ash as usual happy to be called with this new name.
