London, Feb 13 : Former `Friends' star Courteney Cox is set to return to the land of comedy - as a predatory older woman.
The 44-year-old has signed on to play the role of a mother with a 17-year-old son in a new TV show called `Cougar Town'.
`Cougar' is slang for a woman on the prowl for a toyboy.
`Scrubs' duo Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel will write the project.
"People don't do the reality, but there is real comedy about a woman who is talking about Botox and having sex with lights on," the Sun quoted Lawrence, as saying.
New Delhi, Jan 7: Courteney Cox and hubby David Arquette are planning to adopt a child.
The couple, who has been married for nine years and already has four-year-old daughter Coco, is planning the action in a bid to save their marriage.
The star pair is desperate to add to their family but Courteney, 44, has so far been unable to fall pregnant, causing arguments between the pair, reports the China Daily.
Washington, Dec 12 : Courteney Cox is in no mood to push her ‘Friends’ co-stars to re-unite for a film based on the hit sitcom, as she fears that talking about the project in the media would trigger imaginary feuds among the cast.
Talking on the comedienne Ellen DeGeneres'' daytime talk show on Dec 11, the actress, who played Monica in the show, said she is quite keen on making a film adaptation of the series, which went off the air in 2004.
However, Cox was hesitant to talk freely about the potential project, as she''s not quite sure of what direction it could go in.
