London, Mar 6 : Even though John Mayer has patched things up with former Friends star Jennifer Aniston, the comments he made regarding the relationship between actor Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have come back to haunt him.

The remarks, which had been made by Mayer, 31, to Rolling Stone magazine in 2006, were reprinted by US websites.

London, Feb 27: Rocker John Mayer is making two versions of his favourite guitar - so that fans could gain access to his most played axe.

The Daughters hitmaker has joined forces with Fender Guitars to produce a replica of the guitar.

He is making a cheaper version for his fans to buy.

In a video on his official YouTube channel, Mayer says, "I''m meeting with Mike Eldred and Justin Norvell from Fender Custom Shop and we''re talking about something we''ve kicked around for two, three years.

Washington, Feb 25 : Jennifer Aniston, who arrived at the Oscars red carpet hand in hand with beau John Mayer, claims that she is "very happy" with the singer.

In a backstage chitchat, the `Your body is a wonderland' hitmaker said that he grew up watching Aniston as a local news anchor in their native Connecticut.

According to Us magazine, the `Friends' star revealed: "He said that to me too."

Mayer added: "This is the first time I''ve ever walked a red carpet with someone."

Mayer had taken her ladylove on a surprise beach break, which was his Valentine's gift for the `Friends' star.

The couple jetted off to the exclusive island of Eleuthera immediately after Jennifer's birthday party at her Beverly Hills mansion last week (Feb 11) where guests included Friends co-star Courteney Cox, 44, and singer Sheryl Crow, 46.

Washington, Feb 10 : John Mayer has revealed that till date he feels bad about his 2005 `Song of the Year' Grammy Award - because he believes fellow nominee Alicia Keys was the real winner.

The singer/songwriter, who was honoured with Best Male Pop Vocal Performance gong at the 51st Grammy Awards ceremony, held on February 8, 2009, for his hit `Say', has admitted that he didn''t feel his `Daughters' track should have won gold four years ago.

Talking to DeGeneres about his relationship with the `Friends' star, the five-time Grammy winner candidly shared certain private details as well.

"Yeah, there are sleepovers, yeah," People magazine quoted Mayer as telling the host while replying to a question.

"Yes, there are. There are sleepovers," he added.
