Melbourne, Jan 5 : American actress Kate Hudson has named Lizard Island Resort on the Great Barrier Reef as "the most romantic place in the world".

Hudson, who is promoting her first film Bride Wars, finds the place idyllic for a honeymoon.

"It's a honeymoon destination in the middle of nowhere," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling the Daily Mail.

"I shot Fool's Gold there with Matthew McConaughey. There's a small landing strip at the resort and you fly there on a little prop plane.

New Delhi, Dec 22: Kate Hudson will spend Christmas skiing with four-year-old Ryder in the mountains of Colorado.

"Every year we go to Colorado because we grew up there and we ski," Hudson said.

Ryder, Hudson's child with ex-husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, learnt to ski last Christmas, reports the China Daily.

He mastered the slopes so quickly he was tackling advanced runs by the time Hudson came to check on him.

Washington, Dec 17 : Hollywood actress Kate Hudson is enjoying her single status and is in no rush to get into a relationship.

The `You, Me and Dupree', who has dated cycling champ Lance Armstrong and actor Owen Wilson, said that she is trying to stay single as long as possible.

"I''m actually enjoying being single right now because I really never have been," Usmagazine quoted Hudson as telling InStyle magazine.

The ‘Almost Famous’ actress, who split from rocker hubby Chris Robinson in 2006, said that she believed in ego-free relationships and was not amongst those following a do’s and a don’ts list while on a date.

Washington, Dec 9 : Hollywood actress Kate Hudson is keen to work with her mother Goldie Hawn, a Hollywood actress, in a bid to find an opportunity to spend quality time together.

The ‘How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days’ actress stated that she would love to do a flick with her mother and spend time with her promoting the flick.

“Yes. I think that I do really want to work with my mom eventually. I kind of feel like, of course (I want to)! Just to do this (film promotion) together and spend a good year of our lives doing something together,” Contactmusic quoted Hudson, as saying.

Washington, December 8 : Kate Hudson has revealed that she could not ignore the hard-hitting credit crunch, and so decided to spend less extravagantly on Christmas presents.

The ‘Almost Famous’ actress said that she could not help but feel the ‘weird’ time and was restraining from shelling out too much in the economic adversity.

“I think it’s a really weird time and I think that everyone is feeling it,” People magazine quoted her as telling reporters at a LA press conference.

The Oscar nominee further said that she and her family preferred handmade gifts that provided that extra personal touch.
