Bollywood producer Prakash Jha has joined hands with UTV Motion Pictures to co-produce his upcoming directorial venture ‘Rajneeti’.

The producer has also signed up a distribution deal with UTV for 'Rajneeti', which is scheduled to hit theatres during the first half of the coming year (2010).

UTV will distribute the movie all through the world.

Jha said, “With Bhopal as its backdrop and 5,000 trained actors from all over Madhya Pradesh working on the films landscape, Rajneeti is truly my most exciting and ambitious venture.”

Katrina Kaif will apparently be gifting Salman Khan a pup since he's still grieving Myson's death

If rumours are to be believed, then Salman will soon get an Alsatian pup at his Bandra home. The star, who's still grieving the death of his pet Myson who died of a heart attack last week, is thinking of bringing in another pup for his other pet Myjan. And apparently it's girlfriend Katrina Kaif who's thinking about gifting the pup to the star as a surprise. 

Salman, who is currently shooting for his home production Veer in Jaipur, is concerned about his other pet and has been reportedly advised that bringing in a pup is the best way to get Myjan out of his depression. 

The well known director of bollywood, Prakash Jha, who is known for his politically charged films like Gangaajal, is currently in Bhopal shooting for his latest movie, 'Rajneeti'.

The movie stars popular actors from Bollywood, including Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Ajay Devgan and Nana Patekar.

An excited Prakash Jha exclaimed, "I will certainly contend the elections this time."

The plot of the movie is based upon the contemporary Indian political scenario and there are rumors flaunting all around that Katrina Kaif is playing the character of Sonia Gandhi.
