Washington, Apr 10 : Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan has taken a sigh of relief after her daughter split from her lesbian lover DJ Samantha Ronson, as he believed that the latter was just using his daughter for a career boost.

Michael had publicly disapproved his daughter’s romance with Ronbson, which initiated a war of words between him and his daughter.

New Delhi, Apr 10: Lindsay Lohan insists her romance with Samantha Ronson is not dead and buried.

The ''Mean Girls'' actress reportedly split from her DJ girlfriend last week, but now she has come out and defended her relationship with her lesbian lover.

Asked how she was coping without Samantha, Lindsay replied: "You guys make it seem like it''s so over, but it''s not. People take breaks. It''s OK. It''s normal, they focus on themselves."

New York, Apr 10: Lindsay Lohan’s pals have said that she is "the saddest girl in the world” after her split with DJ Samantha Ronson.

Constantly surrounded by news of breakups and make-ups throughout the year, the couple finally got into a big fight last week and broke all ties with each other.

"They are definitely broken up -- hopefully this time it''''s forever,” the New York Post quoted a source close to Ronson as saying.
