Washington, Apr 28 Mandy Moore has revealed that she was so nervous at the release of her new album that she underwent hypnosis to beat the mental tension.
The singer/actress'' release Amanda Leigh hit U. S. shelves on April 26, and the star marked the launch by playing a gig for almost 300 fans in Los Angeles the night before.
But before taking to stage Moore was so terrified that she sought the help of a hypnotherapist.
"It is the most bizarre situation you can imagine," Contactmusic quoted Moore, as telling the crowd.
Washington, Apr 16 : Mandy Moore has said that she doesn't like hearing her early music, as she was a "pop puppet" at the time who was allowed to record only those tracks that were authorised by music bosses.
The crooner shot to fame at the age of 15 after the 1999 release of her debut `So Real'.
But she says that her first efforts still embarrass her, as she was not involved in the creative process behind her songs.

Moore insists that she can deliver powerful performance if offered a worthy role, and that she is ready to toil to get her capability recognized.
