London, Mar 13: King of pop Michael Jackson will be performing 50 shows at the London’s O2 arena, continuing his ‘last ever’ gigs well into 2010.

The 50-year-old star has added new shows throughout the first two months of the year, ending February 24.

Around 360,000 pre-sale tickets have been sold out so far and if all 50 dates sell out, Jacko will have sold a million seats for his shows.

According to the show organisers, the Thriller hitmaker’s ‘This Is It’ tour has become the fastest selling in history, with 33 seats sold each minute.

London, Mar 13 : After taking the audience by storm with Britney Spears' performance, X factor boss Simon Cowell is planning to bring in king of pop Michael Jackson to the show.

While Jacko prepares for his `last ever' shows in London's O2 arena, Cowell has made it his priority to get him on the show.

"Britney was a massive coup for Cowell. But he's determined to raise the bar even higher and secure Jacko's services," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

"He is perhaps one of the few artists who could outshine Britney.

London, Mar 12 : Michael Jackson's fans were left fuming after touts got their hands on tickets for the King of Pop's London concerts, leaving them empty-handed, and later demanded up to 2,500 pounds for every bill.

Over 1.5million people clamoured to snap up the first batch to go on sale for Jacko's concerts at London's O2 arena, leaving phone lines jammed and a website crashed.

While fans were left with just mega phone bills, it was a bonanza for touts as the 50-year-old singer added 18 more shows to his ten-night run.

Organizers AEG Live said pre-sale demand for tickets had been overwhelming for the series, due to open at London's O2 Arena on July 8. It will now not finish before early September.

London, Mar 11 : King of pop Michael Jackson will be renting Brit singer Rod Stewart’s Essex mansion as he performs his London comeback tour at The O2 in July.

Stewart, 64, has his pad just 3½miles outside Greater London, it is set among the 180-acre Copped Hall estate, and even has a five-a-side football pitch.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Jackson will release new music in time for his spectacular return.
