Qazi asks Pakistan government to snap-off ties with USKarachi, Feb. 3 : Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JI) chief, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, has demanded the government to stop supporting the US in the war on terror and halt the drone attacks in Federal Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and other parts of the North Western Frontier Province (NWFP).

"Alliance with the US is harmful for Pakistan's security, stability and economic prosperity. The supplies to the NATO forces from Pakistan should be stopped as these items are being used against Pakistani people, " The Nation quoted Qazi as saying.

Lahore, July 25 : Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Qazi Hussain AhmadJamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Qazi Hussain Ahmad has reportedly warned the US against attacking Pakistan, and added that if Washington committed this “foolish mistake”, every Pakistani would give a befitting reply.

He said that the JI would mobilise Pakistanis against the American designs, and would welcome all the forces joining that cause. “Leaderships of Iran and China would also be consulted in this regard,” the Daily Times quoted him as saying.
