BJP spokesman Ravi Shankar PrasadKochi (Kerala), Apr 13: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday called Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh a `night watchman' who was making way for the next PM.

"Manmohan Singh is acting as a night watchman paving way for the member of Nehru-Gandhi family to the Prime Minister seat. He will have to vacate once the Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi gets prepared himself for the post of PM," Prasad told reporters here.

Prasad blamed the Prime Minister for price rise and unemployment problem.

Reacting to BJP leader L K Advani''s demand for an apology from Congress President Sonia Gandhi for her critical remarks on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said, "Advani should begin by seeking an apology for Babri; he has to seek an apology for keeping quiet during Varun Gandhi''s reprehensive divisive speech, Praveen Togadia, Vinay Katyals and Narendra Modi have to seek apology."

Sonia, AdvaniThiruvanthapuram, Apr 13 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L K Advani on Monday asked Congress President Sonia Gandhi to apologise for her critical remarks on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in a recent election meeting in Jharkhand.

Addressing a press conference here, Advani said that he was shocked to hear Gandhi''s statement that, "we are in greater danger from people inside than from foreign terrorists entering India".

Although Sonia Gandhi did not particularly mention a party''s name, Advani said it "substantially accuses us and the comments were clear".
