Raj Television Network has clarified that at present the company does not have any proposal to foray into print media business. However, the company may look at the proposal in the long-term.

According to the company, this is the long term objective, but at present, the company doesn't have any proposal in hand.

But in near future, if the fund are required, then the company may to dilute 5-10% of equity to private equity players to meet the future fund requirements, depending on the market conditions.

Earlier, a financial daily had reported that Raj Television was planning to foray into print media, and was open to acquiring a Tamil newspaper.

Raj Television Network Limited operates as a regional satellite television broadcaster in Tamil Nadu. It principally broadcasts Raj TV and Raj Digital Plus channels. The company provides a mix of entertainment, news, religion, and culture to its viewers.
