Bhopal, Dec 16: A Norwegian music band named ''Seven Winds'' recently held a concert here for the survivors of Bhopal gas victims.

Seven Winds performed outside the Union Carbide plant where the tragedy took place 24 years ago.

The performers expressed that they were really touched by stories of gas tragedy in media reports and wanted to give a focus to the ongoing campaign in the country for the help of gas victims.

Bhopal, Dec 12 : Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Raman Singh will be sworn-in as the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh respectively today.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Dr. Balram Jakhar will administer oath of office to Chouhan at the Jamboori Maidan.

Bhopal, Nov 26 : Madhya Pradesh is all geared up for elections on Thursday.

Preparations are in full swing to ensure a peaceful and fair poll in 230 State Assembly seats. A record number of 3179 candidates, including 226 women and 1369 independents are in the fray for this year''s election.

Over 260 police and para military companies have been deployed across the state to maintain tight security during the casting of votes.

Bhopal, Nov 11 : Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Tukoji Rao has been arrested for allegedly misbehaving with a Returning Officer.

He was later sent to judicial custody till November 24. The Collector of Devas has also been transferred in connection with the incident.

The BJP candidate and royal scion of Dewas, Phool Chand Verma was also arrested and jailed in connection with the incident last Saturday.
