Militants kill 10 security personnel in north-west Pakistan Islamabad  - Authorities on Sunday found the bodies of 10 security personnel executed by Taliban militants in Pakistan's tribal region bordering Afghanistan, an official said.

Those killed were among 15 tribal militiamen who were abducted by rebels late Saturday in Mohmand tribal district, a safe haven of Taliban and al-Qaeda fighters.

"Locals found the bodies of 10 Khasadars (tribal militiamen) dumped around the mountains in Omar Banda and Ayesha Korona. All were shot dead," said Rasool Khan, a local administrator.

"The Americans informed us between 01:00 and 01:30 pm (local time) today that their one drone has crashed due to some technical fault in Angor Adda areas of South Waziristan," a Pakistani military source said on condition of anonymity.
