Jaipur, Mar 24 : In anticipation of the much awaited annual Gangaur festival, shops in Jaipur have starting stocking the idols of Hindu God Shiva and her consort Gauri.

Gangaur festival is one of the most important festivals in Rajasthan and is observed throughout the state with great fervour and devotion by womenfolk who worship the idols of Gauri for the welfare of their life partners.

Patna /Jaipur, Mar 8: Former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly has said the attack on the Sri Lankan players in Pakistan was as a cause for worry for the game.

"It is terrible for the game of cricket where players are attacked by terrorists. I think their job is to represent the country and play the sport," Ganguly said on the sidelines of a function in Patna.

The attack has cast a security shadow on Indian Premier League (IPL).

Dancing on a chariot between elephants and artistes, Shilpa danced to the tune of a Rajasthani-folk number, ''Halla Bol'', the anthem of the team.

Since the official dress of Rajasthan Royals, champion of last year''s IPL is blue, Shilpa too wore the team''s official T-shirt during the shoot. She was accompanied by her sister, Shamita Shetty.

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has collected the documents pertaining to the tender process of high security registration plates (HSRP) or number plates for vehicles. The bureau has started its probe after a special anti-corruption court directed the ACB director-general to initiate an inquiry into the alleged corruption in the Rs400-crore tender for HSRP in February end.

Ajit Singh, additional director general of ACB, said, "An SP-rank official has been appointed as the investigating officer in the case and the probe has begun. The court has directed to complete the investigation and present the report on April 21.
