New York, Apr 12 : Nancy Shevell''s romance with Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney seems to be affecting her professional life.

Shevell, who's a board member of New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, has been missing more meetings than any of the other 12 full-voting members.

She has missed four board meetings since January 2008.

New York, April 11 : A New Jersey woman, in the middle of a divorce, has dismissed claims of her alleged romance with Bruce Springsteen.

The veteran rocker was dubbed as the other man in the petition, filed on the ground of adultery in a New Jersey court.

Ann Kelly's husband Arthur had alleged in the papers filed on March 27 that Springsteen was having a long affair with his wife of 17 years.

The mum-of-two has now denied the allegations through her attorney Noel Tonneman, saying she found about the accusation from the media.

New York - A deadly tornado ripped through the quiet Arkansas town of Mena killing three people, injuring more than 20 and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake, officials said Friday. The twister touched down late Thursday night and reduced more than 100 homes to rubble, uprooting massive trees and leaving the town of 5,400 without basic services. The tornado also damaged the local hospital, jail and schools. The local Department of Emergency Management said several hundred more homes were damaged.
