Ryan Villopoto wins AMA Supercross race
Ryan Villopoto has won the AMA Supercross race at Angel Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday, scoring the second win for the racer from Poulsbo.
Villopoto took the lead in the race in the race and finished laps much ahead of James Stewart, who stood second and Chad Reed, who finished third.
Villopoto said, "The track was really slippery. I really couldn't make a mistake."
Ryan Villopoto won the first race of the season on 7 January at Angel Stadium. On the other hand Ryan Dungey won the race in Phoenix and Chad Reed stood first Dodger Stadium race. James Stewart took the pole position in Oakland.
The last time there were four different winners for four races was in 1976. this means that all the four riders are in competition for the 17-race Monster Energy AMA Supercross series.
Dungey and Reed are leading the pack with 85 points each, while Villopoto is at 83. Stewart is 12 points below the leaders. Villopoto is now aiming to repeat his performance of Anaheim win last month in the upcoming races.
