Samsung Rolls Out Touchscreen MP3 Player In IndiaSamsung has rolled out a new portable touchscreen multimedia player, named ‘P3’ in the Indian market.

The newly launched player ‘P3’ was first announced at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) earlier this year.

Samsung P3 Digital Media Player, which is just 0.39 inches thin, has a 16:9 aspect ratio.

With a 3-inch touch screen WQVGA TFT-LCD powered by Samsung's EmoTure touch interface, P3 also features a Music Hot Touch Key, which is placed just below the touch screen.

The key lets users to choose their favorite songs or features promptly without requiring to cycle through various menus.

The P3 also boasts Samsung's updated DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology through which users can enjoy crystal clear sound quality.

Moreover, the player also comes with built-in speakers plus earphones.

While making the announcement, R Zutshi, Dy Managing Director, Samsung India said, "Whether it's the P3's sharp and bright 3-inch touchscreen for video and photos or the advanced user interface, consumers will be guaranteed a more personal entertainment experience."

The P3 also has Bluetooth, which permits users to answer calls directly through the player.

Other amazing features of P3 include audio player, ultra-portable photo album, personal voice recorder, FM radio, USB storage drive and even a portable storage drive into one compact device.

Available in matte black and matte silver finishes, P3 is geared up to fight fingerprints and scratching.

The player is available in 8GB and 16GB varieties, and is priced at Rs 11,900 and Rs 14,900 respectively.
