Samsung’s Note 5 could have 4K display

There are rumors regarding next generation handsets of Samsung. Apparently, the company will come up with two variants of the phablet. One is expected to be the regular version and another with the curved display.

According to reports, the regular version will be called Galaxy Note 5; the phone will have a regular screen. The other variant, which is presently codenamed Project Zen, is expected to have a dual-edge display.

There are also rumors that the Galaxy Note 5 will have either SuperAMOLED 2K (1600x2560) or 4K (2160x3840) display. The phone is expected to incorporate Samsung's Exynos 7422 processor. It is expected that the Exynos 7422 processor will consist of the main CPU, on-board storage, graphics chip, RAM and a few radios; all this will be incorporated on one single chip, similar to the Apple's A8 processor.

The screen of another phone may not have the high-resolution of the Note 5. The display is said to be around 5.5-inch; it will be curved from both sides, resembling what Samsung has done to its Galaxy S6 Edge phone. It is expected that the processor on this device would be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808. There will be 16-megapixel rear sensor in the camera with optical image stabilization and there will be 8-megapixel shooter for the front camera. The device is said to support S Pen stylus of the Note.
