Sarah Jessica Parker's "carcass" nightmare on cooking her first Thanksgiving meal

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 25 : Sarah Jessica Parker recently opened up about the terrifying experience of cooking her first Thanksgiving meal.

In an interview with 'Bon Appetit', the 51-year-old actress shared her memories of having a dream, the night before the Thanksgiving, that she had only cooked a "carcass",reports E! Online.

"I was so scared. I had never cooked a turkey in my life and I was really, really young and I remember having a dream the night before that I had only cooked a carcass. I pulled it out, revealed it, and it was a carcass."

Despite never having cooked any lone turkey carcasses, Parker admits that she's had varying success with cooking the bird over the years, but her most crowd-pleasing dish is peas.

"I always cook baby peas with sour cream, salted butter, and grainy mustard. It's crazy good. People love it and want to inject it into their bloodstream," she said.

"It's so easy. And then we put some fresh cracked pepper on top. Recently, I made up this dish: I love yams and sweet potatoes. I boil them and then I put them in a baking dish with olive oil, butter, lemon juice, and cayenne," she revealed her recipe.

Today, the 'Sex and The City' star enjoys cooking and is lucky enough to be joined by another excellent home cook, her husband, Matthew Broderick.

Parker's absolute favorite dish is pumpkin pie, which her daughter Tabitha loves too. Ironically it is one that no one in the family actually cooks.

Reportedly, they have been ordering the classic dessert from New York's 'Little Pie Company' for a long time. (ANI)
