Feminine shapes and silhouettes are stylish. Size zero is completely out.

Off-shoulders and one-shoulder dresses at the Oscars have set the trend for this season. Colours are expected to be more feminine and silhouettes — softer, dresses should be fitted, yet flowy.

Accessories are still big. Though, bling should not be restricted to just ear rings — loud necklaces can be used to accessorise simple attire. When it comes to sunglasses — the bigger the better.

In shoes, platform wedges are back in vogue. Wedges work better than stilettos this season, though ankle straps will be around for a while longer. Designer bags never go out of style, and a Gucci, Louis Vuitton or Christian Dior bag is a must-have.
