Charles Sobhraj’s barely 20-year-old fiancée-cum-spokesperson, Nihita is trying to defend against the life time imprisonment sentenced to him.

Describing Sobhraj as an innocent, humble and caring man, Nihita alleged the Nepal police of giving fake information and documents against Sobhraj thereby dragging his name in the crime.

She refused to speak to the media as she felt that media has always projected Sobhraj in bad light and has also misquoted her several times.

Although the Nihita claims that there are no age barriers in love, the analysts, however, think of a possibility of some hidden motives to this love affair. She further said that both of them will wait for Sobhraj’s release from the jail and afterwards they will marry according to the French law.
