Stock Markets Review
Indian Stocks markets ended the day with marginal gains. BSE Sensex touched a high of 20,323 but ended the day with gain of 24 points at 20,216. NSE Nifty also gained 11 points to close at 6081.
US Stock markets lost nearly one percent after a weak report regarding durable good was released. Benazir Bhutto’s assassination in Pakistan raised worries about global political stability.
Indian Stocks markets may remain weak on Friday’s trading session as the global cues aren’t very favorable. The events in Pakistan may also impact the market sentiment.
Major Stock which touched 52-week high on BSE on Thursday included Adani Enterprises, Adlabs Films, Balrampur Chini, Century, Emkay Shares, Essar Shipping, Essar Oil, Hanung Toys, Indiabulls, Krone Comm, NALCO, Mundra Port and Shipping Corporation of India.
Aksh Optifibre touched a 52-week high of Rs 76.25 and closed at same level. Adani Enterprises touched a high of Rs 1042. Alok Industries touched a high of Rs 100. Sugar stocks Balrampur Chini and Shree Renuka Sugars touched 52-week high again.
Cairn India touched a yearly high of Rs 244. GE Shipping touched a 52-week high of Rs 560. GNFC touched a high of Rs 231. Hanung Toys touched a high of Rs 264. HB Leasing touched a high of Rs 42.
IMP Powers, recommended as a multibagger by TopNews recently has touched a 52-week high of Rs 290. INOX Leisure touched a high of Rs 233. Koutons Retail touched another yearly high of Rs 870. LT Overseas touched a high of Rs 89.
