According to trade circle reports, the distribution rights of the up-coming film ‘Ayan’ have been bought by the Sun Pictures.

Ayan starring Surya and Tammana has been directed by cinematographer turned director K.V. Anand. Anand has impressed everyone with Kana Kandein. His most recent project as cinematographer was for the blockbuster hit movie, Sivaji: The Boss. Apart from Suriya and Tammana, Mumbai based actor Akashdeep Saigal would also appear in the movie in the lead role. The movie has been produced under the banner of AVM.

Commenting over the movie, Anand said, “Doing a movie for the AVM banner is not easy. One has to keep reputation of the production house intact. We planned everything and thank Almighty, everything went on well. It will be an entertainer with Suriya at his best.”

The audio of the much-awaited film Ayan would hit the music shops on Monday, January 19. Famous music director Harris Jayaraj has tuned all the five songs for the movie which are considered as a mixture of melody, peppy and a western number. Apart from sets in Chennai, the songs of the movie have been shot in Malaysia, Tanzania, South Africa, and Namibia.

The film is all set to hit the theatres this February.
