High-alert in Orissa to prevent bird-fluOrissa government has sounded high-alert all over the state to prevent an outbreak of bird flu in the state after the disease hit areas in Assam.

The Govt. has directed all officials to be on alert and take measures to prevent an outbreak.

"The fishery and animal husbandry resource development department has alerted all its officials across the state", director of the department Bishnupada Sethi told.

"No flu has been detected in our state. But still we are taking all precautions," he said.

Survey revealed that more than a third of Britons rank sexual activity at the top of their list of freetime activities. This survey also revealed that women preferred gossiping with friends, while men tended to rank sex as number one.

Researchers from the National Institutes of Health and a nonprofit advocacy group, Common Sense Media analyzed 173 studies about the effects of media consumption on children. Data analysis showed that 80% of the reviewed studies agree that heavy media exposure increases the risk of harm, including obesity, smoking, sex, drug and alcohol use, attention problems and poor grades. 93% of studies found that children with greater media exposure have sex earlier.
