London, Apr 22: The longest place name in United States, Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, has been misspelt for years on signposts, admit officials.

After researching historical spelling combinations and the local newspaper the Telegram & Gazette of Worcester, local Chamber of Commerce officials have agreed that some signs at the lake in Webster, Massachusetts - known as Webster Lake for short - has been wrongly spelt.

Washington, Apr 22 : Hollywood actress Miley Cyrus has given her nod to gay marriages, as she believes Jesus loves all and does not discriminate between gay people and straight people.

Cyrus revealed her stance on being quizzed by blogger Perez Hilton, who reached out to top celebrities after attacking Miss California Carrie Prejean for her anti-gay marriage stance at the Miss USA pageant over the weekend.

Hilton, who was judging the beauty contest, asked the Carrie for her thoughts on same sex marriage and was aghast when Prejean revealed she believed marriage should be between a man and a woman.

The 27-year-old, who has been making headlines over her new fuller look, said she hated doing squats during her routine with longtime trainer Mike Alexander.

Washington, Apr 22 : Plans to remake 1984’s hit film ‘Footloose’ have been thrown into crisis over Chace Crawford''s commitments to teen drama Gossip Girl, it has emerged.

According to E! Online, Crawford is said to be in final talks to replace Zac Efron in the film, but the actor is struggling to find time for the shoot.

He is already contracted to shoot another series of Gossip Girl in New York.

Washington, Apr 22 : Scientists say that it may be possible to assess chemotherapy''s success in inducing cancer cell death – by examining the patterns in which light bounces off cell surfaces.

According to a study led by researchers in the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center and Duke''s Pratt School of Engineering, the technique might be used as a tool for measuring patients'' response to chemotherapy more quickly and non-invasively.
