Washington, Apr 23 : Illusionary relationships with characters and personalities on favourite TV shows can provide people with feelings of belonging, even in the face of low self esteem or after being rejected by friends or family members, says a new study.

The research by psychologists at the University at Buffalo and Miami University, Ohio, has been described in four studies published in the current issue of the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.

Washington, April 23: A new study on radiologists has suggested that playing baroque classical music in the reading room can help improve mood and productivity.

The study was conducted by researchers at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD, Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, PA.

Eight radiologists participated in the study and rated their mood, concentration, perceived diagnostic accuracy, productivity and work satisfaction on a seven point scale.

In fact, researchers found that the risk of developing dementia in the study''s very elderly population was 66 percent higher among heavy NSAID users than among people who used little or no NSAIDs.
