White House debunks Obama bowing before Saudi monarch mythWashington, Apr 9 : The White House has denied that President Barack Obama bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.

The photographs show that Obama at least stooped significantly before the 84-year-old Saudi monarch. The Right wing back home has criticised and disapproved Obama's action.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," Politico. com quoted an Obama aide, as saying.

The research team led by Dr. Steven Suter, assistant professor of oncology sought to determine whether genistein - a molecule found in soy that has been shown to be toxic to a wide variety of cancer cells in humans - also inhibit the growth of canine lymphoma cells.

The study showed that a commercially available form of genistein called GCP was effective in killing canine lymphoid cells in a laboratory setting.
