Washington, Mar 19 : A-list stars – including Alicia Keyes, Sheryl Crow, Debbie Allen and Alfre Woodard – will join U. S. first lady Michelle Obama to celebrate Women''s History Month.

Beginning Thursday, Obama kicks off the series of events at Washington-area schools at which she and others will speak to students about career goals and achieving their dreams.

New York, Mar 19 : A distinctive collection of exquisitely designed brassieres, with names like Mardi Bra and the Bronx Bombers, are set go under the hammer to raise funds for breast cancer charity.

Called Creative Cups, the extraordinary collection includes brassieres with images of modern and classic Yankee stars.

The flamboyant designs also include an Armor Bra made out of ancient body armour "as a metaphor for the ongoing battle against breast cancer."

Washington, Mar 19 : A new study suggests that early prostate cancer screening can cut mortality risk by nearly 20 per cent.

The European Randomized Study of Screening for Prostate looked at 162,000 men in seven countries, aged 55-69, and found that initial PSA screening and regular follow up led to an increase in early detection.

That, in turn, reduced the number of deaths due to metastasised disease.

The study showed that on average for every 1,408 men screened, 48 had cancer diagnosed and received treatment, resulting in saving one life.

Washington, Mar 19 : A music video directed by late Aussie actor Heath Ledger is slated for release this year.

Ledger had directed the video for group Modest Mouse before his death.

A band spokesperson revealed that the actor had directed the animated clip for “King Rat”.

The song was from the group''s 2007 album ‘We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank’.

Isaac Brock, the lead singer of the band, worked with Ledger on the video''s concept.

Washington, Mar 19 : American rapper Kanye West has been charged with three misdemeanours in connection with a scuffle with the paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport on September 11.

Los Angeles City Attorney''s office announced in a statement on March 18 that West, 31, had been charged with misdemeanour vandalism, battery and grand theft.

His road manager, Don Crawley, 33, has been charged with the same counts, but two of each.
