Michelle Obama and mum to feature in Mother’s Day issue of EssenceWashington, April 6 : U. S. First Lady Michelle Obama's mother, Marian Robinson, will feature with her in the May issue of Essence magazine.

Marian joined her daughter for a joint interview and cover shoot for the U. S. Mother's Day issue of the magazine.

The interview was conducted in Michelle's East Wing Office at about a month after the inauguration.

The mother-daughter duo discussed family, life in the White House, and the importance of good role models.

US, NATO troops will not be allowed to operate inside Pakistan: Qureshi

Multan, Apr 6 : Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said no foreign military would be allowed to set foot in the country and law enforcement agencies will conduct anti-terrorism operations inside the country.

Qureshi told reporters here that during his recent visit to Washington, he had conveyed to the US that NATO would not be allowed to conduct operations in Pakistan. They have understood our point of view and accepted it, he added.

He said that the US has introduced a bill worth 10.5 billion dollars for Pakistan, which comprises 7.5 billion dollars as economic assistance and 3 billion dollars for military assistance.

The application known as Sun Dial is currently being discussed this week at the human-computer interaction conference, CHI, in Boston.

"We have to understand religion because it''s such a central part of peoples lives," said Susan Wyche, doctoral candidate in the College of Computing and GVU Center at Georgia Tech.
