The couple, who got married in May 2008, have named their babies, who were born a few weeks early, Max and Bob.

"They're doing great," People magazine quoted Sheen''s publicist Stan Rosenfield as saying.

"And Brooke''s doing great," he added.

London, March 16 : In a new research, a statistician in the US has suggested that every individual is not only liable for the greenhouse gas emissions caused by him, but also for his children, and further descendants.

According to a report in New Scientist, the statistician in question is Paul Murtaugh, from Oregon State University in Corvallis, US.

"If you have a child, you and you partner are each responsible for half its emissions. If that child has kids, one-quarter of their emissions are down to you, and so on," said Murtaugh.

"How it adds up depends on population trends and emission changes in the future," he added.

New York at risk from predicted sea level rise due to global warming

Washington, March 16: A new study has suggested that global warming is expected to cause the sea level along the northeastern U. S. coast to rise almost twice as fast as global sea levels during this century, putting New York City at greater risk for damage from hurricanes and winter storm surge.

The study was led by Jianjun Yin, a climate modeler at the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies (COAPS) at Florida State University, US.

According to Yin, there is a better than 90 percent chance that the sea level rise along this heavily populated coast will exceed the mean global sea level rise by the year 2100.
