Washington, Mar 17 : Poor self-esteem, embarrassment and unwanted weight loss advice from doctors are steering obese women away from regular breast cancer screening, thereby putting themselves at an increased risk of developing the disease.

The research team led by Nisa Maruthur from The John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, USA has shown that obese women are 20 percent less likely to have had a recent mammography than normal weight women, especially among the white population.

The authors highlight a number of reasons why obese women may not be undergoing breast cancer screening.

Washington, Mar 17 : Troubled popstar Amy Winehouse is apparently returning to the Caribbean to headline St. Lucia''s 18th annual jazz festival.

The 25-year-old singer, who was all set to perform at the Coachella festival in America, faced a major setback after being denied the US visa, as she has been charged with assaulting a fan in the country.

Winehouse was offered to perform at the festival, to be held in May, while she was vacationing on St. Lucia recently.

New York, Mar 17 : The trademark blue-and-gold jumpsuit and matching cape that King of Rock `n' Roll Elvis Presley wore at his 1972 concert in New York is up for grabs at an online auction.

After the concert, Elvis had given the jumpsuit to legendary songwriter Joyce (Dottie) Rambo, who wrote many tunes for the King, as her birthday gift.

Rambo was killed in a tour bus accident last year.

The Elvis' memorabilia was discovered by Rambo's daughter Pete Siegel, who has put them up for sale on auction site Gotta Have It!

New York, Mar 17 : American actress Mena Suvari has revealed that it would be appropriate for her to cover up her tattoos during her wedding.

Suvari, 30, thinks it would be inconsiderate if she were to reveal her tattoos to her fiance's family.

"I think it would be considerate to [fiance Simone Sistito''s] family to have my tattoos covered, since there are two nuns on his mother''s side of the family," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying at the Vanity Fair and USA Networks Character Project bash last week.
