Migraine sufferers are often advised to take exercise, however, they avoid it amid fears that the physical activity may bring on a serious migraine attack.
Washington, Apr 17: Researchers from State University of New York have found that low levels of lead found in the blood during early childhood can increase a child''s risk of developing hypertension in later life.
They found that low levels of lead could adversely affect a child''s cardiovascular system''s response to stress.
During the study, the research team found that lead exposure was associated with an increase in vascular resistance when the children worked on a stressful computer task.
Washington, April 17 : A University of Colorado at Boulder team, US, has developed a new method of shrinking the size of circuitry used in nanotechnology devices like computer chips and solar cells by using two separate colors of light.
Like current methods in the nanoengineering field, one color of light inscribes a pattern on a substrate, according to CU-Boulder Assistant Professor Robert McLeod of the electrical, computer and energy engineering department.
But, the new system developed by McLeod’s team uses a second color to “erase” the edges of the pattern, resulting in much smaller structures.

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel would kick off their tour at Auckland's Vector Arena on June 13, reports The NZPA.
After which they will head to Australia for their reunion gigs.
The last time the pair visited New Zealand was in 1983 with their Summer Evening Tour.
