Washington, Mar 24 : Sean Connery has been named `Favourite James Bond Actor' in a new poll.

The actor received 45 per cent votes in the survey conducted by HMV. com and social networking site getcloser. com to mark the DVD and Blu-ray release of the 22nd James Bond film Quantum of Solace.

Daniel Craig, who received 22 per cent, landed the second spot while Pierce Brosnan came third with 15 per cent of the votes.

“Along with all the physical and emotional pain it causes, domestic violence also comes with a substantial financial price,” said Amy Bonomi, co-author of the study and associate professor of human development and family science at Ohio State University.

Sixty-four percent of those polled said they approve of Obama's overall job performance, while 61 percent gave him the thumbs up for his handling of the American economic crisis.

Washington, March 24: An international team of researchers has found the earliest physical evidence for domesticated maize in Mexico, dating back to at least 8,700 calendar years ago, which is 1,500 years earlier than previously documented.

According to the researchers, the maize was probably domesticated by indigenous peoples in the lowland areas of southwestern Mexico, not the highland areas.
