Washington - US President Barack Obama on Saturday pledged continuing national support to victims of severe flooding in North Dakota and neighbouring Minnesota and South Dakota.

In his weekly radio address, Obama also praised the thousands of volunteers who have filled sandbags to fight the rising waters.

Washington, March 28 : A long-term research has concluded that the shell of a particular snail has dramatically increased in size, during less than a century, thus providing a clear illustration of how fast and effectively change can occur.

The research, which began in 1915, was completed by a team of biologists at the University of Pennsylvania.

It determined that a snail making its home in the northwest Atlantic Ocean around Mount Desert Island, has experienced a dramatic increase in the size of its shell during less than a century.

These cameras, which currently enforce 100 dollars red light violations, would also be used to nab motorists whose cars are, DC uninsured.

Washington, Mar. 28: In the next US budget, the Obama administration will link military aid to Pakistan to the “performance of the government”, US Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher has said.

“The down payment will be linked directly to the performance of the governments involved,” The News quoted Boucher, as saying.
